New Year, New Research Project: InnoPolyPharm

The InnoPolyPharm project was launched in early 2026. As part of this collaborative project, NGP Polymers GmbH is working closely with the Friedrich Schiller University Jena to further develop novel pharmaceutical polymers with the aim of making them suitable for industrial use.

Within the InnoPolyPharm project, NGP Polymers GmbH focuses on scaling up the synthesis process, conducting comprehensive characterization, and performing tests for safety, stability, and sterilizability. This ensures that the pharmaceutical industry’s high-quality standards are met from the very beginning.

As a result, the newly developed polymers can be used in innovative pharmaceuticals and help treat diseases that existing therapies have so far been unable to adequately address.

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to the European Union and the Thuringian Ministry of Education, Science, and Culture for their support of this project.
